The classic penny loafer has been given a Mandarina makeover with the addition of a modern and edgy chunky sole.

In essential black, these super-comfy suede loafers work surprisingly well with skirts and dresses, but even better under trousers of all styles - wide, cropped, skinny or flared. Footwear dilemmas are solved in one!

Real suede upper with banded detail, leather lining, lightweight chunky sole. Average fitting.

Made in Spain, these are good quality shoes made to last.

WHAT YOU TELL US.....

PUMPS

I just had to tell you how much I enjoyed wearing the white pumps this summer. Wore them to death! So much so that I just had to buy another pair. They were so comfortable and I wore them day and night, hardly off my feet.

Very Happy!

I am VERY happy with flowery shoes!  Can't wait for the weather to wear them!  They will cheer up the day-whatever the summer has in store for us!

Comments from Vogue

We were delighted to receive this message from a member of Vogue's fashion team the other day:
"Our readers love to have quirky original pieces you don't see everywhere! I saw someone in John Lewis the other day wearing a pair of your boots- I think they were bright green- they're so distinctive I knew instantly they were Mandarina!"

What a choice!

Thanks for the lovely dachshund shoes they’re a joy to look at and a joy to wear. I spotted the tantalising glimpse you’ve offered of your forthcoming spring collection and especially what appeared to be some rose-patterned ballet pumps. Any idea when they’ll be coming in? They looked blooming lovely! You’re in danger of turning me away from heels forever with your lovely ballet flats . . .

Another Pair Please!

My (Scottish) husband thinks my shoes are so wonderful (well, that tweed, of course …) that he is insisting on buying me another pair of shoes – this is a first in 31 years of marriage. I am just swithering now between pink silk and blue dots and will put my order in soon.
